The fireseekers who dwell small island nation pledge fidelity to the goddess Hibast, while others revere nature and all her ways in the persona of the goddess, Otha. With piety for divine guidance, these insular lands keep to the traditions of the past, and celebrate life, the seasons, and the elements with great zeal. Upon these isles life humans and dwarves, with only a few elves and yet plenty of goblinoid races. Churches, therefore, act as fortified respite from the dangers of the wild, and priests become respected sages and governors of the many small settlements and communities.

Srovo - The capital city hosts representatives the isles and these council officials are guided by the ancient order of dwarven monks who are very active in the protection of the isles.

Most recently, ferry boat passages have become affordable and thus popular, leading many to 'come ashore' to visit the lands of Burdansk. Many rumors suggest a treaty is in progress--one that would unite the isles with the barony of Burdansk for mutual protection and continued solidarity against the encroaching Prelacay of Vihmorand to the south.
